It depends on the credit card. Some hold RM1 while some charge you RM1 (and refund you later). I am not sure if it could be 7 working days but you will get it back definitely within a short period.
The RM1 is how the credit card works and validates that you are the authorized credit card holder and that the credit card is valid.
