Hi guys,

I have owned a Huawei P20 Pro for around 4 months duration already. So far I am happy with the phone.

However, lately I had upgraded the version to 8.1.0.152(C636) with patch package of C636patch01, my EMUI is 8.1.0. I realised a new icon on the top left corner with VoLTE.

Since then, I realised my battery drainage quite fast even though at standby mode.

In my scenario:

Previosuly, from 1am tlll 7am (sleeping): battery dropped from 100% to 90%.

But lately, for the same timing/duration: battery dropped from 100% to 76%.

I never use the phone in between 1am till 7am.

Anyone can help out with explaination? Or is it the norm for the latest version or EMUI?

Thank you.

This is my guess. I guess one of your apps have gone rouge after the upgrade. Or the cache needs clearing. If you are up to it, uninstall and reinstall them or even factory reset as last resort.

Check your battery usage at setting, disable the culprit, and simply restart your phone.
