Hey guys I will be putting my braces on next week. My gums are aching right now due to the dental separators between my molars. Can hardly chew right now. And I still need to deal with these separators for few more days. I can't imagine how will i feel after putting the braces on.

Thanks. Finally had my braces on today, the conventional one. The whole treatment costed around 5k, excluding the fees for dental filling and scaling. No extraction is needed though. It has been 4 hours and I'm still not feeling the pain, just a bit tight on the teeth. The orthodontist told me the pain will only be felt tonight or tomorrow. Nevertheless, eating with it is a woeful experience. My first meal with braces on took me around 40 mins even though I'm having porridge as dinner and the food will be stuck between the brackets. Haaha.

hey peeps. my orthodontist just installed the elastics on my braces. it's kinda awkward now when i'm talking.

and do i need to replace the elastics everyday? or only replace it when it's loose?
