I have one ulcer on my gum now.. wonder is that caused by the brackets or myself heaty?

we experiencing same type of pain now...
but i have more wounds.

uhuh...me also...the first time...it sank into my gum as well...i just leave it there...next app...he took it out...but the mark is still there la...sigh...then didnt put that teeth anymore...change to another teeth...also sank into my gum as well...got bit blood there...eww...then ok dy la...sigh...i understand how u feel...painful kan?...sigh...uuhk uhuk...y kentcp never complain one ah?..lolz...

Dr reuben's price quite ok i think, surveying all the info here...

i paid RM 5400 including the retainers, moulds and xrays. I asked about ceramic, RM 6K, ai yah, should have chosen ceramic but the result is still ok... heheh.

Actually still havent finished paying, :-) the brace treatment finished SO FAST..... still got something like 2K to pay!!!!


I dunno what type of brace it was, i know there's no colours... my sister also doing treatment there... he doesn't look like malaysian - maybe he's from south korea????? My sister teeth also look ok.... At first dr at UKM says need jaw surgery but now looks ok!!!!

because i am guy ma.. pain also have to zip my mouth..sometime also bad mood caused by the pain..especially eating the time, can't fully enjoy the nice food..quite frus.

I have 6 teeth all tied up now. Dr. ask me to brush the gum. So i take his advice. Bought myself a baby toothbrush to only brush my gum. Will the mark stay for long? I'm afraid that the gum will look funny in the future.
Babypearl, you're right about the pain. First time installation was still ok. Still can tahan. Den when he change for me yesterday, so bloody pain. I was tearing... like so kesian. Nurse also laugh at me.

Coming April will be 6th months for me. And Babypearl will be one full year.

Hahaha thanks. Like i said b4. Before getting braces, i was reading this whole thread. I'm serious... all messages. Then i remember a few names who are regular and also those who accepted the same type of treatment (inovation).

Then when i started braces, i refer back to those Especially you on the progress. Cos i wanna know roughly how long to take it to be aligned ma.
And i guess some of you may hav 'graduated' from the braces thread lo.

Added on March 7, 2009, 11:42 pmerr.. about the de-bracing, actually I'm in fine tuning phase already... I think maybe by next month or May should take out dy, I think.

From the nurses, the retainer that they provided 1 is those transparent type 1... for other type you have to pay extra. If I am not wrong, those steel type 1 cost RM400 for bottom and top separately, which means = RM800 for top & bottom.

Anybody else have more information about this?

I couldn't imagine myself without the braces anymore..! I think I will feel like my teeth is "naked" dy!!!

Does orthodontia include teeth reshaping (eg. round off pointed end)?

hello.. kinda newbie here.. i just want to ask.. has anybody know any dentist in wangsa maju area and anybody knows the total cost of making one?.. really need a guide here.. cause plan to put on mine.. if possible.. can explain more bout the installment plan.. like the down payment and the monthly or per treatment payment like that.. thanks in advance..
