when brushing, i don't dare to brush too hard cause scare the bracket come off. each bracket will be charged rm50. how much dr how charges?

also, you guys using mouth rinse right? which mouth rinse are you guys using? how much per bottle?
*
bracket come off won't charge as long as u still keep it. if u lose the bracket, then need to charge.

i'm using oral-b. recommended by dr. how, because it's non alcoholic. i forgot how much i bought per bottle, stock up a lot at home during promotion.

Added on May 19, 2010, 1:19 pmi just came back from dr. how's. i walked in n waited for less than an hour. surprisingly, faster than with appointment, hahaha... settled my lose bracket and changed the wire for lower jaw.

anticipating for my wisdom tooth extraction next tuesday!

*
wah... u drag so long ar? but if it doesn't hurt u still ok la. mine hurt me a lot, even drink water also feel pain. when the bracket slide along the wire, it cut my gum.

for me, it's quite convenient, my office is in kl sentral, 10 mins drive to bangsar.

Last night one of my white blocker has just drop off. Do I need to head back to top it up straight away or just wait my next appointment?? Cause my next appointment will be on june.
*
if it doesn't cause ur upper/lower teeth to crush your brackets, it should be alright to wait until ur next appointment.

i think it's self-captured.  tongue.gif

anyway, after our braces is done, can we collect back our mold.  tongue.gif
*
yes, the photos are self-captured biggrin.gif

i'm not sure if can get back the mould, but i assume can because we need the mould to redo our retainer if we break it.

haha. not really. but it has to be extracted anyway cause it has decayed.  sweat.gif
the ortho already told me which four teeth need to be extracted, but im still waiting for final instruction.

plus, i have underbite problem, so most probably the two of my lower teeth need to be first extracted before the top ones.
*
ic... then there must be a reason y ur ortho decided not to extract your teeth yet. u have to b confident. did you ask your ortho when he/she plan to extract your teeth?

Is Dr How always away? I've tried to make an appointment do to braces on Thursday twice but he was/will be away.
*
From my observation, he's away 25% of the time. Normally i make appointment 1 month in advance. Even after making appointment, sometimes will receive notification to reschedule appointment cause Dr. How will be away. He always attends seminar, talk, conference, training to keep himself up to date with latest technology. It's a good thing.

Actually i'm quite fed up with all the rescheduling. I'm supposed to extract my wisdom tooth tomorrow morning. I've already informed my boss that I'll be taking MC this week. My bf already took half day leave tomorrow to fetch me to the clinic. My mom already took leave to cook for me after the surgery.

Jst now the staff from Dr. How's called me saying Dr. How is having a meeting with minister tomorrow morning and my appointment need to be rescheduled. So last minute...

The staff at the clinic advised me to make an appointment for Monday. But I'd prefer to do the braces at the end of the week so that I have a weekend to get used to the pain and new diet.  blush.gif
*
It's not easy to get a nice available slot unless u make an appointment far in advance. Actually it's not that painful, I did it on a Wednesday. I don't find any problem with that. If you want to do it as soon as possible, just that up the slot suggested by the staff.

Finally got my wisdom tooth extracted yesterday. Dr. How's meeting was canceled last minute.

It's not as scary as I imagined. Phew... I was really nervous before the surgery.
