I see. Where did you get your Malaysia set from? Also, there should be OOS 9.0.6 now

Direct D
all should be same source from MiHan right?
*
Not too sure actually. I'm planning to get the OP6T as well but I don't know if i should get it from DirectD or Lazada OnePlus official store instead. In terms of warranty, I'm not sure how reliable both of them are when there's an issue with the phone. However I do know that I'll get some freebies if i get it from DirectD as opposed to the one from Lazada store. Have you experienced warranty claim with DirectD before?

Guys what’s the difference between China and international set? Does one of them get slower updates or something cause the price difference is quite big.

Malaysia get A6013 model, but there's other countries that also getting same model and importer might get stock from such countries.
If seller write manufacturer warranty means MY set. MY set will also have Mi Han sticker.
*
Thanks for the clarification!

QUOTE(vyperz @ Nov 24 2018, 06:01 AM)
erm actually i been doing surveys between MY set and imported set, since g store gives extra rm100 discount and also 2 yr warranty plus those freebies worth exceeding rm300+.....i dont see any reason not to get MY set for the assurance of Mi Han for warranty issues....damn gooding for paying only around RM2.7k only including all the perks of using shopback and lazada wallet
*
Yup that's what I thought of doing as well. I really do hope that the box is sealed and not tampered with for quality issues checking. Btw, did you check the freebies at directD cause it's slightly different

Need some opinion guys. I’m stuck between choosing the OP6 and OP6T. I’m gonna list some of the pros for both phones that I can think of from the top of my head. Honestly, I’m kinda worried the small battery on the OP6 might disappoint me.

OP6
- headphone jack
- fingerprint sensor more secure (?)
- thinner design
- much cheaper due to sales that’s happening as of now

OP6T
- slightly larger screen to body ratio with less abtrusive teardrop notch
- large battery
- on display fingerprint (I heard it’s much faster now after the recent update but not sure if it’s secure)
- gorilla glass 6

Go for 1+6T... U won't regret...
- Worry with no headphone jack mostly due to can't charging & earphone at the same time... But with 400mAH extra juice this should cover a bit ur concern...
- That minor thickness until u can't noticed it lah... LOL
- On Display Fingerprint slow ? It's fast for me... There's some tricks to register ur fingerprint... (don't follow the assistant ask u to register with ur thumb edge... just continue with middle of thumb or the mostly practise how u place ur fingerprint)
*
Yeah that’s true. But the current sales for OP6 is hard to miss 😅

QUOTE(Ben Ling @ Nov 24 2018, 12:45 PM)
I just got my OP6 last week and what I can say is it is definitely awesome. Battery life is actually quite good, normal usage can get around 8hr SOT. With gaming I can still achieve 5hr SOT.

OP6 has both headphone jack and LED notification that 6T doesn't. Fingerprint on the rear is fast and accurate, but I personally prefer front fingerprint as my previous phone was OP3. In display fingerprint should be good, but this is still a 1st release from OP, they should be able to improve it in their next model, maybe half of the screen can unlock the phone.

Gorilla glass 5 vs 6 is not a big deal, as long as you protect your phone with covers thn should be fine.

Screen sizes between 6 & 6T is not a huge different too.

In my opinion, you can save much more by getting the 6. If you want newer technology then of course you can get the 6T. Goodluck.
OP6 Malaysia set 6+64 is 1999, 8+128 is 2199 and 8+256 is 2299, offered by SatuGadget.

OP6T Malaysia set 6+128 2588, 8+128 2888 & 8+256 3188

I’ve checked satugadget but somehow they only offer 1 year warranty (no extended). No idea if there’s any free gifts included as well. Which seller did you get yours from?

what's the price and OP6 or 6T ?
you mean OP6 right ?

mine is actually imported set so it's seller warranty though

hmm i think the extended warranty should be available, or u may contact MiHan and ask about it to extend your warranty as few users posted earlier they need to contact them to extend their warranty manually.

https://www.mihan.my/pages/contact/

and no free gift since they offer for such good price already
*

Yeah the OP6. Now I’m in a dilemma on whether to get the international/import set as opposed to the Malaysia set 😂Just wondering, do you know if the warranty would be a hassle if I were to get the international/import set? Cause if it is not an issue to settle warranty matters, I wouldn’t mind considering the international/import OP6T set instead.

For your import set, you just had to download google store right? You’re able to get latest updates as well?

Just to share an unpleasant experience @ Mobile 2 Go - Dataran Perniagaan Cheras (C180) while trying to purchase Mi Han set OnePlus 6T (6gb).

The boxset is not sealed and they claim have to examine stock upon receiving stock. The Mi Han sticker is also under the booklet in the box which I find it fishy. They do not have another new unit in store.

Im expecting a plastic sealed packaging like YouTube unboxing, or is it different in Malaysia?

I saw from another thread on lowyat forum that g store from lazada is also mobile 2 go. Can anyone confirm this?

I actually wanted to buy the OP6 at that price point from Shopee but I was too late sad.gif Yeah i guess the next stop would be during 12.12 / xmas time. I don't know if the price could go any lower though.

Maybe u'd get a better deal for the 6T as well! wink.gif

Or u wanna keep jack jack and the notification LED instead?
*
QUOTE(chubbyqq @ Nov 30 2018, 03:34 PM)
jack jack is a must for audio, wireless suck bigtime
*
Honestly speaking, if there's a good offer on the 6T I wouldn't mind getting that instead. At the moment I've not seen any decent sale on the OP6T from the official seller (probably cause its a new phone). So if the sale is only applicable on the OP6 phone in the next 2 weeks during 12.12 / Xmas, i'll just have to settle for the OP6. Not having the headphone jack will not make my phone experience deteriorate since they do provide the converter in the box.

If u okay with imported set can try look at Qoo10. Got my OP6 8+256GB for 1883.

The only concern for me is the warranty though which is only 1 year. Just wondering, for the imported set you bought, who do you send to if there’s any issue?
