Even during 11-11 sales, the cheapest new P20 PRO with Malaysia warranty is RM2,550 from shopee.. If really can below RM2000 then it is really good....
Saw some advertisement on Lazada selling below RM2k but must deal outside Lazada platform This post has been edited by sukhoi35mk: Nov 18 2018, 12:18 PM |

QUOTE(azihas @ Nov 26 2018, 09:25 AM) It can't lock the GPS in Waze in P20. It stated connecting to GPS which will go on forever. When tested with the apps GPS Test, no GPS or satellite detected. if u tested with apps like GPS fix or GPS test and not working then it is very obvious that GPS chip gone case already...When I tested the same simcard with older phone which is P9 Plus, using GPS test apps the P9Plus can detect GPS and satellite. Even Waze also working perfect. |

QUOTE(crixalisrox @ Nov 25 2018, 07:52 PM) Yes 5ghz of course. i am using 500Mbps unifi and to be honest.... so far i only can hit full 500Mbps with LAN... if an iphone 8 can hit 500Mbps Mine is 500mbps unifi. IPhone 8 plus can get full speed. P20pro only 3xxmbps Wanted to know whether that's our phone limitation or my phone got problem lol. then it is really something.... if u search youtube on wifi test on smartphone; avg is between 3XX - 4XX Mbps for 1Gbps.. anyway; this is from my P20Pro and router is TP-link Archer C7 » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(azihas @ Nov 26 2018, 11:51 AM) Thanks for the help. How unlucky me.. the phone age is less than 1 week already detected problem with GPS. no idea bro but i believe it will be whole board change because location chip (BCM 47774) is very tiny....Looks like will be heading to SC. Does Sunway Pyramid SC good to send or better at the Amcorp Mall? ![]() |

QUOTE(leinnz @ Dec 26 2018, 09:24 AM) night mode shot is not as good anymore. Night mode doesn't utilise the monochrome sensor... In fact that monochrome lens only activate when u take black & white pics as Mate will activate wide angle lens when u use wide angle feature...How can we address this issue to HuaWei, I think it is because our P20 Pro 3rd camera is black and white which is not same as Mate which is wide angle U can try cover the third lens with finger when u switch between camera mode... U can see nothing blocks the focus except in monochrome mode This post has been edited by sukhoi35mk: Dec 26 2018, 01:50 PM |

QUOTE(leinnz @ Dec 26 2018, 03:13 PM) Night mode uses the monochrome sensor. i could be wrong but when i look at the P20 Pro triple cameras physical hardware.... lenses are fixed to sensors... if u cover the B&W lens then i doubt how the sensor will get the image.... u can try that in modes like photo or portrait and try to cover telephoto or B&W lens with finger; the phone will give u warning "Please do not cover the lenses"..As explain here » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « try to cover B&W lenses in night mode and no warning given... ![]() it also explain here that the night superiority is due the unusual large main sensor... DxOmark Thanks to an unusually large (by smartphone standards) 1/1.73″ sensor in its main camera, the Huawei P20 Pro delivers class-leading low levels of noise, making it the smartphone of choice for any kind of photo and video shooting in low light and indoor conditions. In the night shot comparison below, you can see that the Huawei sample shows better detail and significantly lower noise levels than the competition from Apple and Google. forbes Elsewhere, the P20 Pro drew particular praise for its low-light performance with and without flash. This is due, in part, to its unusually large main sensor which allows more of the available light to be captured at any given aperture size. Although the P20 Pro’s main aperture of f/1.8 might seem less bright than the f/1.5 of the Galaxy S9+, the larger sensor size more than makes up for this. Remember f-stops are mathematically linked to the size of the image circle they produce, so you can’t just compare one f-number against another without taking sensor size into account. |

QUOTE(fkinmeng @ Mar 14 2019, 09:08 AM) it is directly under huawei, you can check from this link: https://consumer.huawei.com/my/support/service-center/ I believe the main Service center is the one at wisma berjaya.... When I wanna to replace my twilight back cover.. Amcorp and sunway no stock.. Need to place order... I went to KL, got it done in 2 hrspreviously i have send units to both amcorp and sunway pyramid before, the one in sunway pyramid told me that they will have to send to amcorp for testing first before they repair my set, and the one in amcorp claimed that they are HQ. this was 2 years back? |

QUOTE(fkinmeng @ Jul 14 2019, 10:29 PM) Waze also problematic, always can't search location, but i think this is not phone problem, more like waze problem. i have searching network issue with Waze but everything work perfectly with googlemap...usually i will shut down and relaunch waze again. then it will lock to GPS immediately and fine afterward...
