I jus walk in local Huawei service centre. Pay RM99 and get it done in an hour. Warranty 3 months. No free screen protector coz not service day

dont dwell on it much.
imho hydrogel protector is better due to slight curved at the edge.
the one they gave is meh.lots of holo effect.

Hi guys wta my father have this phone and he is sending the phone in for repair tmw bcs his speaker have something wrong, would like to find out should he factory reset his phone b4 sending in his phone? Or is it ok as long as he doesn't tell them his password to unlock the phone?

Always better to backup first.

But no need to factory reset, can request them to put in maintenance mode, but you still need to sign off and agree that if any data lost, you can't blame them or something like that.

Don't mind data loss as long as they can't see his personal details that he keep inside his phone?

so u guys still with p20 pro? mine still yes cz it still acceptable to work with current apps etc.

just need to make sure it enters maintenance mode first, coz from there if want to enter the phone need to screen unlock first.

yes still using, now work from home, basic usage is enough. and the phone still works very well.

software wise still no problem, no games played.

im really used to front physical fingerprint scanner. very useful when mounted on the phone holder. when on the bike, am not worried about water/rain.hehe

not keen using on screen fingerprint scanner (hit or miss)

maybe i need to change the battery that's it.

superb camera
front fingerprint scanner (physical)

still very strong and kicking. Huawei is the best

i still had my p20 pro. last time changed the battery under rm99 huawei. after 3-4 months after, it make the phone sometimes unable to get superfast charging, needs 3-4 times plug in-out the wire to the phone to get back. Then lose out the below speaker, need to press the center of the screen to get back full below the speaker. Today it won't vibrate. Is this a sign of a motherboard issue?

plan to upgrade the phone if it need expansive repair

first went to berjaya to replace bat. then kena like u.

went back they said maybe need to change board like rm700+

made up my mind just to change the board at pavilion
pavilion tech checked and it's just the cable/ribbon tersepit or something. replaced it and everything went back to normal. rm40 something i think.
