This morning my P20 Pro received "System Parameter Update" message & request for restart, after restart don't see any changes at all

Could it be to reduce cpu speed and save battery life? Like the big fruit company once did to their older phones.

I believe It is for security, google play system update. Check under security. The security date is changed to 1 December 2020. Can't remember previous security is 1 November or 1 October 2020

My supercharge has stopped working for quite some months and now it is just "quick charge" shown in the screen.
Wonder if anyone experiences this and any possible troubleshoot?

Me. I change to charging port under warranty. And sc said it cost about rm100 if out from warranty

Mine already out from warranty. I probably will not do it as long as it can charge (that so called quickcharge).

Do you happen to be informed by sc what could have causes that port to go bad?

Wear and tear. It happens when my warranty almost ended. I sure it cost much lesser outside sc

go during huawei service day then can waive service fee, part cost less than rm20.

at least you do it Huawei SC, they will make sure your phone are back in water resistant.

I have the same problem as yours. Went to SC (berjaya plaza) and replaced new battery cost RM118 inlcuding labour charge

I believe there still is. But that’s just for normal replacement of the old battery with a new one. His however entails some repair work and hence, I suppose due to that warrants additional cost.

could be the super charge charging cable problem. last time i had the same issue, after change to another super charge charging cable, back to normal, can super charge.

HUAWEI Service Day is valid on every first Friday & Saturday of the month at selected HUAWEI Authorized Service Centers. HUAWEI Service Day will be automatically postponed to the Friday & Saturday of the following week if either of the days falls on public holiday.

The only reason my P20 Pro still surviving really thanks to Huawei Warranty Day with affordable parts and free labor. best is efficient and friendly service. not gonna sell P20 Pro even thou no more update from Huawei. Camera still capture amazing photo on today standard.
