Because by now most of the phone already have at least 3900+ mah battery, unless you let phone background downloading nonestop or whatever or a E chipset, by the time you go back home the phone will still have many power left, play awhile before sleep and charge like 1-2 hour battery will full.
*
most people do this daily. some don't need powerbank to survive whole day.. but to have wireless charging be enabled out of the box would be convenient even to it not necessarily to be used.

QUOTE(ayamxxx @ Jun 15 2020, 06:49 PM)
Yes. This is the reason why i choose wired charging instead of wireless. The phone battery are bigger in size nowadays, ours is 4000mah, 2020 phone most with 5000mah.

Dont understand why some user prefer slower charging for sake of battery life. Definitely the phone manufacturers did test extensively when developing the phone, the battery selection as well as the charger port watt.
*
Not to worry if got both wired and wireless charging option can choose any of your like. There's people who love to just put their phone on wireless charging pad when back from work and leave it there for showering, eat and rest until tomorrow morning. If got notification just grab and put it back when done. Not tied with cable is another level of satisfaction.

If wireless charging not that useful, then why Apple, Samsung and even Oneplus go for rapid wireless charging direction?

Unless people travel frequently seldom stay at home, but the fact is wireless charge very slow compare to wired..all wireless charge mostly at 10w while current wired can go up to 65w
*
I will comment for one last time on this as apparently you are totally missing the point I was trying to make.

I was not disputing the ‘facts’ you are putting forth but merely endeavouring to put it right, for want of a better phrase, what you were remarking from the outset.

Curious to know, was it already bad?

Mine still can last me 2 days (roughly) of moderate use. 2 yrs old, probably.

me since July 2018. Is not that bad, heavy usage, 1 day.

but decided to change for a few reason.
1. Android 10 / EMUI 10
2. Factory Reset it like new phone
3. New Battery Life Span like out of the box
4. Service Day discount and no labor fee instead of previous promo RM99, now only RM62
5. With warranty 3 months on battery too

So now the phone is like the new phone. Althou I didn't spend RM3299 on the phone (won it from contest) but I think the RM3299 really worth it and well spend for those who bought it.

Really agree with you there... I'm very much satisfied with this phone. Bought it when I was working in Qatar, for 2999 riyals. Roughly the same price as in Malaysia.

Unfortunately, I probably don't qualify for the service day discount, eh... Being a middle east set and all.

Hi there may I know when you change to get the free service? According to the website no more Huawei free service day. Is it still every first Fri and Sat of the month?

Also you mentioned phone reset. I am a bit worried since I do not want a phone reset. Can they change the battery without deleting the data in it?

I factory reset myself but they will force you to sign the agreement that possible the system will auto-reset if the system detect something wrong as per their claim.

But mine came out no reset, so I reset by myself to get my battery accurate result.

Usually around RM50-80 I think. Never ask before the exact labor pricing

one think i like about Huawei and Honor is they are upfront and transparent about their pricing. all listed here:
https://consumer.huawei.com/my/support/sparepart-price/

labour fee is usually rm60.

as for the reset when changing battery. personal experience is... i was forced to reset. i feedback after that (said pointless to have maintenance mode if it is not used by SC). a friend changed the battery recently and did not have to reset (but had to sign some disclaimer that cannot take action of data loss or sth like that)...
