I want to bring one of these classic bands to Malaysia, tentatively next year.

malmsteen...hmm...dunno yet.
if its just malmsteen doing karoake...then no.
if he brings his full band...then probably yes.

then again, i just saw who his band members are...zzz...no more tim owens...ya im out of touch cos for me malmsteen ceased to exist after 1989

I concur, the only other album that matters after that era is the one with the Jap orchestra. Damn didn't realize Ripper's gone.

Yeah the guy's a washed up douche but he was my inspiration for shredding after all.

i havent heard the orchestra album... but the track list looks like hes channeling his inner Paganini?

anyway the 90s...the inspiration covers album isn't bad... and his last 'world on fire' is quite decent... that's about it for me after 1989

Bought ticket for malmsteen, rockzone

I know the line up will dissapoint me, summore old malmsteen will probably play 1.5 faster than original, which he usually do (i farken hate it )

But consider it as a lifetime experience, him in Malaysia , so i dont mind

pray to god that he will have some sense n solo nicely, in control, not too many improvise, dear god pls

so sad no money to spend... but already watched judas back in 2012 when they tour with lamb of god @ singapore. lucky me halford still can tarik high note live back then hehe
