VENUE : SPOT R Arsenal Shakesperce Titanium + Abu Garcia STX (20lb) Surecatch 4 piece Travelling Rod + Abu 6500 (20lb) Ofmer 4 piece Travelling Rod + Daiwa TDX (15lb) Rapala Skitter Walk / LC Gunnish Nothing much to shout about in the morning session until lunch time. Basically doing on blind casting as the wind were strong. More on ayam jantan talking & lembu jantan berakking than anything else. Nice lunch at LINGGI. Topic of the DAY WUSH WUSH Lure Bumi Mana Yang Tak Ditimpa Air  The 1 that took the hati ayam .. Cili padi The late second halves took all the limelight of the day. Non stop action at about 6:30pm onwards. Splashes almost at every angle from our casting point. The fishes are coming out for dinner. Frenzy everywhere. At this point, you can really pick your casting spot. We decided to only cast to those BIG splashes. Out of a sudden, WHAMMMM!!! daddy's lure being struck at high speed, the STX begins to strip & screams. All the other anglers stopped with everyone's attention turn to daddy (that includes me lar). When one malay chap shouted "BESAR, BESAR .... toman tu", daddy panicked & go over excited, by trying to apply thumb brakes but to no avail. The lines keep striping !!! Eventually after about 25minutes tussle, PLAKKKKKKK .... putus !! Not the line but the rod !!! The Shakespearce Titanium admit defeat & gave away, breaking near the joint. RIP , Shakespearce ..... & hard luck to daddy for not being able to bring the fish back for photography session.  The defeated Shakespearce lying motionless ...
