Been using RFID since early this month.
100% success rate at dedicated RFID lane at Guthrie and Latar, but on combi RFID/Smart Tag lane at DUKE, I think failed about 4-5 times from about 30 passes

Yesterday evening at 6:30 pm, on DUKE Sentul Pasar extreme right SmartTag/RFID lane, it failed to detect my RFID.
Drove at 10km/h and complete stop at the barrier, still failed. Luckily the toll girl was at the next lane and she told me that it is always a problem to detect RFID at DUKE Sentul, so had to tap my TnG Those pilot users in RFID FB page should be familiar with the phrase "DUKE Challenge" already This post has been edited by widget: Nov 14 2018, 08:55 AM |

QUOTE(alvinrenren @ Nov 30 2018, 12:12 AM) Correct me if I’m wrong, usually rfid lane don’t have smart tag sensors. Anyway, I would remove the smart tag if I don’t use tolls without rfid. Dedicated RFID lanes don't have SmartTag sensor, but there are combo RFID/SmartTag lanes like those used on DUKE highway. The DUKE combo RFID lanes are well known issues that members of FB RFID group call it the "DUKE Challenge" and staff at DUKE toll plaza also aware of the issues. As a daily user of DUKE highway, it is really a PITA that nowadays I just used my SmartTag instead of RFID |
