recently sold off my old car and tried to remove the rfid sticker (fitted 2-3 years ago) on the headlamp. the sticker residue stucked and "makan" the headlamp plastic cover.

best placement i think would be windscreen

i ordered a new one for new car and stick it onto left side windscreen, so far so good.

A sharing on my recent RFID experience on my new car at fitment center.

Front headlamp fail, Civic FE has a protruding hood and it blocked the RFID on headlamp
Front windscreen was tinted with metallic tint, RFID placement on OUTSIDE windscreen will definitely fail. We even tried to place the RFID on a piece of black sticker, also failed.

the only place to be detected is at the front bumper near the H logo.
I'll just use back Smart tag and see how it goes in the future.

So for those planning to stick on the windscreen, make sure your front tint are not those metallic tint.

Haha good idea, but temporary not fixing now. Using back smart tag.

New car sakit hati to stick on car paint.
Previous car rfid was on headlamp, the sticker already makan into the headlamp after 2-3 years. Now a bit phobia to stick on car body
