As someone suggest, I tried install inside the windscreen, and it works. You can test it out before fully install it.

How do you install inside the windscreen? How do you stick it to the inside windscreen? The rfid tag supposed to stick Outside the windscreen.

Yes, I know the tag should be installed outside the windscreen/headlamp. But feel less secure and cost money to install again if someone break it or remove it lol...

Initially I installed it with selefon tape to test at few toll booths with RFID scanner to see if it can scan through my windscreen tint or not then I only use transparent roadtax sticker to stick it. Test at your own risk lol.

So by sticking a transparent road tax sticker to stick the rfid, so far so good? So you don’t peel out the rfid right?

Isn't it supposed to be installed on the head lamp?
Will it works if my Wind screen got tinted?

I'm thinking to get one for my car, is the RFID on the Highway toll reliable nowadays?
Can anyone comment, thanks

I used the sticker and placed it inside my car windscreen. So far so good no issues. Also installed it on a Honda City eHev.

You can try it first. Put a clear plastic to secure the rfid sticker to the windscreen. Drive through a toll plaza if it works then good. However my car tint is JPJ compliant. If your car tint is darker you may have problem.

I put mine on top left as per instructions, don't have any problem for the past 3 years. This year a few toll have new RFID lane and I start to have problems with it. sometimes have to reverse and go forward again to be detected

Certain rfid plazas has problems. I usually face problem at the rfid toll at the Sprint Damansara. You have to drive through it slowly. If you drive too quickly, it will not detect.

As for the other tool plazas, I do not face any problems. Location of my RFID is top left of my windscreen.
