for the past 1 week started using rfid, below are the results on 2 cars:
car 1
grand saga batu 11 - failed SILK sg long - failed SILK bkt kajang - passed LDP sunway - failed besraya mines - passed
car 2 so far no issue. what i noticed is the sticker placement on windscreen on car 1 is higher than car 2..not sure if this determined the failed outcome..already reported to TnG and still waiting for their response

QUOTE(zeese @ Jan 3 2019, 04:34 PM) Anyone here used rfid on BKE highway (butterworth - kulim expressway). The put rfid signboard there, but when I went through at normal speed, nothing happens. I had to reverse the car and use tng card. Tried both way. It's like they put the signboard, but never install the rfid reader.. iinm that one is plus rfid and not TnG rfid..

QUOTE(zeese @ Jan 4 2019, 08:18 AM) Yes.. I suspect that also.. But if they are different, then they should not use the same logo for now .... plus rfid label is RFID TAG while TnG rfid uses MYRFID right?

QUOTE(Par@dox @ Apr 3 2019, 10:09 PM) I have the second one.. quite crappy. Have to slow down very slow in order to detect. SMART Tag works much better in comparison. Haihh.. ended up replace with the top one and put it on the headlight...they said my car tint reflecting the sensor wave back so couldn't detect the tag..

QUOTE(buffa @ Jul 13 2020, 10:12 AM) Hi, wanna confirm, the place I stay have set up the rfid barrier. I have TnG RFID installed. The notice from my housing management said their RFID barrier will not work with other RFID(means TnG RFID). I not yet install for my housing one. You guys tried installed 2 RFID before? Will it really interfere each other? my car has 2 rfid..so far no issue..one for tng and another one for the house entrance..both sticked at the headlamp...

QUOTE(abubin @ Jul 13 2020, 10:54 AM) Who have issue with RFID on windscreen? Apparently certain tint will cause problems. I wonder why is this as the RFID is in front of the tint. yup had it before..end up with sticking the rfid on headlamp..if not mistaken they said something like the scanner wave bounce back due to the tint
