Same here bro, been thinking of getting RFID but the thing stopping me is — sometimes there's absolutely no RFID lane at all, then end up kena max rate. So macam no point also if still have to worry about that.
*
At my place the rfid lane always got problem, few times seen cars queuing up waiting for their turn, touch'n'go much faster as there is many lanes for it

I will stick to touch'n'go until the gov announce no more then i will upgrade to rfid 🙂

I try to request the one time free replacement for our RFID sticker at their website. Successfully submitted my request but when I check the status, it says Rejected. Anyone knows whats going on?

You can get your first TNG RFID Tag replacement free of charge, but only if your TNG RFID Tag was fitted after 15 February 2020.

That's good and now it works perfectly 😀, usually where did you stick the rfid, I've seen some users stick on the headlamp left 🤔

Old 1 at the left big light but the new 1 at the top left part of the windscreen. The guy at rfid replacement place told me it is easier to detect.

Top left windscreen would be the best place for rfid

The key to RFID success is:

1) Must be on completely flat surface

2) As far away as possible from metal surface

3) if possible, as far in front as possible

4) as high up as possible

5) as forward facing as possible, left /passenger side oriented (there are some readers are now placed beside instead of high up ceiling)

6) behind number plates was a popular placement as it'll allow safeguard against road debris (me and my wife kena before stone bullseye damaged the RFID antenna, the center chip, or both)
Why i say was, it's because of point 5

Just curious, why tho?

Fitted one on my old car (outside, installed by TnG) and the other inside (self installed).
I can say >95% of the time works no problem.

Close to roof or a pillar (or both) that's metal, and it's a distance away from the front bonnet

Not too mention, not all glass surface is properly flat.

If your car bonnet long like mine (GT86 coupe) then your failure rate gets very high since you'll reach the toll gate too quickly and the RFID reading will just stop and prompt your failure. That's when you'll need to reverse.

I've fitted them 3 times on car plate & it works like a charm.

Either behind the car plate or on the car plate. It still works.
