From the Popular Mechanics website, this product is initially aimed at commercial sector rather than marketed as consumer products. Commercial sector means hotels, casinos, shopping centers, exhibition centers and so on...

I heard from the streaming videos it costs around 5K to 10K USD.

And the way it interacts with wireless devices like camera and PDA is impressive!

I wonder if it has a virtual keyboard, so you can actually input useful data than just shifting icons/pictures around drool.gif

Actually it's not really a dream... technology wise, it is very do-able already. Most of it is just UI. Real problem is a touch screen that size would cost a bomb. For example, the new HP Touchsmart IQ770 PC costs RM 6,660.

Why do i also get the feeling that Apple is going to come out with something like that first~

Same thing with the PC you and I are using right now. When computers are first made commercialize, they were an impossible item for individuals. But look at where PC is at today biggrin.gif

The future of casinos, this might soon replace the gambling tables in Vegas. Place your bet and play virtual cards brows.gif

Even before minority report, this kind of computer already appeared in the Matrix. Remember the control room that controls the gates of their base? Really cool!

Just that in Minority report, it was made more interesting....

Hmmm.... now thinking about matrix, I want to watch it again..... biggrin.gif
