It only approx 4 months since the laucnh. I believe they wont be launching a new replacement for Tytn ii so fast coz if they do it, it means on:

"Something is wrong with the unit and we need to replace it fast before we lost the market share."

If they really launch the unit, sure a hell lots of complaint going into their ears.

Even if they wanted to launch, they will do it approx 6 months later. Coz at the moment, they aren't any close competitor that can match Tytn ii. They will take some sweet time to earn back the R&D funding before pushing new products. Believe me, all of the big company already have a product roadmap with great technology. They will eventually, release bits by bits to earn the money...

It is just like if the stripe dancer, without dancing just stripe naked, you won't feel the excitement. It will be better to take off pieces by pieces to excite you .... and welcome to the big marketing world.

I am facing a bit of battery problem on my side. I just got my pda out from the service centre and it seems like the problem is not solved.

Also, just to be on the save side, i would need your advise.

My TyTN II will consume approx 4 to 5% of battery in an hour on idle mode. That mean the phone is switch on, set to manual GSM band setting and without additional services. Is this normal on TyTN II?

I have sent the phone in for 3rd time warranty since purchase on 18th Feb. Hopefully they can find out the cause. Since I am in the 14 days warranty, I am still under one to one replacement policy. LOL

But it is really sucks to have a 12 hours lifespan phone on normal usage basis.

Do you guys normally run out of battery within 1 day? I have to charge it everyday thou. I am doing sales so quite a lot of phone calls and bluetooth.

Please share a bit of you usage and normal charge time. I am worried that my phone got something wrong. Thanks.
