QUOTE(ur4m3shi @ Dec 11 2007, 03:52 AM) not that accurate ... depend on the map u got ... like mine a few places not updated ... summore the refresh rate is not that good ... esp when driving a bit fast... Are you using R12 mapking? If not than you should upgrade. Download the latest map from malsing. Check back few pages for the guide. Also the accuracy is depend on how many satelite your device can log in. The more the accurate is your location. I don't have this problem. The only not so accurate is sometime point me at other side road. But only a few second.standard package ? u mean inside the box or what ? .. inside the box .. u will have the pda itself .. manual ..cd ... extra stylus ... leather case ... warranty card .. charger .. usb cable for connecting to pc ...and ... screen protector .. freebies that u might get ... 2gb microSD card + bluetooth ... if ur lucky maybe can get another screen protector .. coz the ori one sux .. or maybe got extra leather case or what so ever. . depends on the shop ... |

Yes it is accurate as garmin. For GPS, accuracy it not much important. As long as it between few meter that is ok. We are not use GPS for military to bomb someone. The most important is the map information. The more info like place, road, building and etc the more interesting to use.
Added on December 15, 2007, 10:39 am QUOTE(irenic @ Dec 15 2007, 04:23 AM) i just wonder.. malsing map can be used with mapking? err i mean can we combine them? sorry if this is a silly question... very noob here Malsing is a website. They have all the type and version of map that can feed to your device. Please check thier website to learn more of this GPS. They have very good tutorial about GPS.This post has been edited by ozak: Dec 15 2007, 10:39 AM |

If you don't mind the size, than get the flame. The spec is alot better than TYTNII. Actually the flame is not bad. Just people don't like the giant size. One more thing is flame don't ve GPS and keyboard. If the flame have the same size and hardware as TYTNII, I definitly get the flame.

Added on December 19, 2007, 10:55 am QUOTE(Pennywise @ Dec 19 2007, 12:28 AM) Before I commit myself onto this, are there any upcoming PDA that is comparable to this baby and I should be aware off? Sorry my mistake. There is one brand which have higher spec and same size with TYTNII. But not sure if avaible in market now. It is E-ten X800. Check it out. The only cons compare with TYTNII is 64ram and 2MP camera. The pro is VGA screen and slimmer. This post has been edited by ozak: Dec 19 2007, 10:59 AM |

QUOTE(icycokes @ Dec 20 2007, 03:02 AM) Count me in. I m about to order one this week. Since you got bulk order and cheaper, would like to order from you.Added on December 20, 2007, 9:01 am QUOTE(Pennywise @ Dec 19 2007, 12:02 PM) Is E-Ten available in Malaysia? I also want to ask, Microsoft announced that Windows Mobile 6.1 is coming out in the 1Q of 2008 and new PDA devices with Windows Mobile 6.1 will be out somewhere 2Q of 2008. Is Tytn II upgradeable to Windows Mobile 6.1? Any article somewhere by HTC to confirm this findings? Will launch this week. But I heard the service here is bad. Once problem, it will take long time to repair. I won't buy it if this kind of crap service even the pda has a high spec. This post has been edited by ozak: Dec 20 2007, 09:01 AM |

QUOTE(funnyman @ Dec 26 2007, 05:22 PM) hi sifu .. The main problem is the bitrate. For pda, you need to reduce the bitrate as the processor not fast enough. To reduce the bitrate also reduce the quality of the movie. Because the pda have 320x240 screen and 65k color, so you won't see much different. If you play it at PC, it look blockage. please advice .. i tried to view or play a movie i downloaded on to my memory card and its in divx format .. the movie seems to be slow and not streaming a smooth as we see in the pc, why? how could i improve it? i play the movie with TCPMP please advice and thank you in advance sam I m using 3 software to encode. 1) window media encorder - for wmv play 2) divx converter - for divx format 3) dvd to pocketpc - DVDrip Just choose encode to PDA or pocket pc will do. It already preset with the pda setting. Cheer |
