My HyppTV box has spoilt. It was the first generation grey/silver coloured one. I wanted to replace the HyppTV box, called TM, they said they can replace it for free, but TM will renew my contract for 2 years. I am not sure if I want to renew my contract with TM or not, especially when Maxis just announced their 100mbps broadband for only RM129, which is much cheaper than what I am currently paying unifi now. I am currently on 100mbps unifi with HyppTV package included.

TM said I can buy the HyppTV box from them (with no contract), but quite expensive around RM300-400 i think. Just wondering, can I buy the HyppTV box from outside myself? or from someone who wants to let go of their HyppTV box...will it work if I connect to my router? Where can I buy the HyppTV box (other than from TM)?
