good things don't come cheap; and
good and cheap things don't last.

TS in competitive gaming? why need programmable buttons?

my friend gave me this Razr Abyssus he won from a lucky draw, 6 months already the mouse go haywire liao so i stole the free wireless mouse that came with my mom's DELL XPS system. almost 2 years liao and no problem, if rage quit take and throw down the stairs, pick up still can use.

The life span of gaming mouses are totally RNG it depends on your luck and daily usage. The average lifespan for mouses id say 3 years.

Should I then buy the Logitech g502 since you say cheap things don't last?

Go to lowyat. See which mouse fits your hand, then buy accordingly. Unless you're aspiring to go pro, you don't need those overpriced 'gaming' mouse.

Razer Goliathus Speed. Had this for a year, looks exactly the same as I bought. Durability through the roof. Logitech and steelseries, after a few months, the pad gets damp from sweat, slowing the glide and you can see discoloration. As for the price, its all based on supply and demand. Much like the overpriced RGB crap you see around peripherals and pc components, its expensive cause users want their shit to look fancy.

I love razer krait ergonomic but no more such design from major brands.

Most of the mice really damn bulky.

Wow rm200. Is it made of gold or what. For that price it would be a rip off if it only last a few months.
Is there any cheaper option???

Idk where you got that figure from but its RM81. From my experience with this model is it doesn't absorb sweat easily and its super durable. You can buy the cheap ones, no ones stopping you. Give it a few months, the pad will start to turn grey and you will notice the point where your wrist is will become damp and soggy. If you aren't competitive, just go for the cheaper alternatives.

As for mice, as I have mentioned before, if you aren't planning to be competitive, just get a cheap mouse. You probably won't notice the difference between sensors.
