depend on location.
maxis is band 2 + 7
digi only band 7

if place digi no lte, then sure cannot get. try another location?
test with phone first.

Probably needs an update on simcard in iOS but your friend better off getting it checked at Digi store

i think your ipad unable auto lock band. you can do manually by disable auto carrier. when your ipad discover more than 1 band on digi, please try swicth and play around. it already happen to my iphone. i didn't use auto carrier anymore. it look like software glitch. already report to apple support, but they can't fix.

yeap. i already open ticket with apple, explain and show with them but it seem their tech support sucks. they claim no issues with IOS.

issues simple : IOS unable to lock if area offer more than 1 band. so it will take lowest ping/latency which mean 3G instead of 4G/LTE.
i am not sure what point you put 4G but IOS select 3G.

so at the end, give up and do manual switch. i am no longer use auto carrier with IOS.
