Hi,

I just changed to new rims and tyres yesterday. Not a second hand one. But i just noticed today, there are some white streak that seems like vein at 2 of my rims.
May any sifus can tell what is this? The surface feels smooth though, i don't think it comes from scratches.

Zoom in and you can see it clearly.

Thanks.

Updated : Here's a pic of the other rims.

I bought it from Bridgestone GS Multi Sdn Bhd. Is there any drawbacks on using refurbished ones?

Sure, they sand it off first before applying the lacquer coat...

Already went back to shop, the tokey insisted that this is a new rim and the white streak happens because of old stock, he said. The only way he could fix this is to send it back to the factory and polish it again or i top up a bit and get a different rim. Sigh. Nevermind, as long as it is not noticeable. It's a Hyundai Matrix anyway.

Confirmed the rim is refurbished. Those are actually scratch marks left by the previous owner. What the shop did was to sand it down to make it look new again.

1. Vossen got 14 inch?
2. Never trust those tyre shop when they say the rim is new when you found flaws on it.
3. what happen to previous rim? I find no reason to change stock to new rims with the size of 14 - 15 unless got damaged on stock.
4. 750 is very very very very exp for a 14....

Next time be careful la... Money not easy to earn....

The original owner of the car use 16 rim, after 1 year of use i think it's better to change back to stock 14. It's my first time changing rim and tyre, I'll use this as a lesson next time.
