Saw the Thailand vs Iraq game....honestly i rooted for thailand..they played superbly especially 2nd half..if it's not because of their physics..they could have won the game...but in my heart...Malaysia all the way...it's just that i had this habit of rooting for smaller/underdog teams...hehehe

i praised thailand, the match last nite didn't turn out to be a one sided affair, thailand do attack!!! I hope the malaysia's team can do the same against China, i juz hope...

hheemm.. reminds me when we were the host for the youth world cup, created a record, the first host team without a win.. sad.gif

i still hope malaysia to at least gets a draw against china:
1) first game is always the toughest for both teams
2) homeground advantage? if only the stadium is full..
3) hope they wud play like thailand did, respect against ur opponent is one thing, want to win the match is another, thailand did attack throughout the game, i hope the national side wud do the same, like i've metioned before, more passing in midfield, more thru passes, less long ball please...

p/s: now waiting for japan's match.. smile.gif

my say:

1) donno why the malaysian team doesn't like to pass the ball around, keep possession, pumped the ball everytime, lose the ball..
2) i like nantha..
3) defenders shud win the ball..
4) midfielders shudn't lose the ball..
5) strikers? no comment, bcos didn't receive quality ball..

others:

1) wah, sun jihai look tall and 'big', he looks kinda tiny in city's jersey! hah!

when will i be able to feel proud of my country's football sad.gif

a lot mentioned bout the 90's football, including players and issues, brings back memories.. smile.gif

p/s: shebby marked gary lineker once, though gary scored 4 goals! hah! tongue.gif nonetheless, he was one of the good players during his time.

btw, one of matlan's goal against england, was an intercept from stuart pierce back-pass, cant forget that..

dont think the management will ever change hands.. i guess what we can hope is to have another independent football management in the country, though i do not know whether this will happen, like everyone notice, politics!!!

i juz watched the game on tv.. i remember in the 2nd half, a china player at the center alone wanna make a pass, there were three malaysian players, one infront and two besides the china player, none did challenge, as if waiting to see how good is the pass by the china player.. hehehe.. wat to do, oh team malaysia ku!
