Todays game is gonna be good......I hope at least Malaysia can play like Qatar yesterday, they new they were the underdogs and played defensive football also they knew when to take their chances. It was boring football but winning mentality !
China is a very offensive them....Malaysia better be on top of their game ! thumbup.gif

Malaysia 1 - China 5......

Malaysia started off quite well in the match but problems in their defense was obvious right from the start. One thing that Malaysia try to do early on was to intimidate the opposition by playing close contact football and it work until the first goal. But still Malaysia tried to bounce back but holes in their midfield and defense were proving to be a real threat. China on the other hand, started off slow and low on confidence after a poor pre-tournament friendlies with the likes of USA and UAE....But after the first goal the "sleeping gaint" was awaken !
In my opinion, i was actually quite impressed with Malaysia`s passing, set-piece taking, their ability to win back balls and also their ability to bring the match to the opponent. All credit to them for not just sitting back and waiting, they actually were creating chances for them selfs. Malaysia should have included K.Nantakumar and Indra Putra as their contribution to the game during the last half an hour or so was solid.
I don`t think Malaysia should have lost 5-1, the last goal especially was a real slap in the face to Malaysia and its supporters.....I seriously doubt Malaysia can bounce back after this game but we will have to wait and see. Historically, in this tournament, Malaysia has never passed the group stages and the last time Malaysia actually qualified for this tournament was in 1980 ! This time they qualified because of being one of the host nation.....

As i stated earlier, Malaysia only qualified for this tournament because they are the host nation....Malaysia does have potential, their passing and set-pieces have improved a lot ! Now i feel that they have to work on three things goalkeeping (for sure !), fitness & strength (need to be more physically fit) and defense. I believe if they can improve on these areas then we can start to see some real world-class football.......
Also, Malaysia need to instill some discipline in their player.....some of the player think just cause they are playing in the national team, that they are the same standard as the like of david beckham.......Anyways, lets hope Malaysia use this tournament as a very important lesson in playing world-class football.....

if i am not mistaken MyTeam vs Malaysia Under-21 right ? not the senior team.... cause FAM was scared of the fan`s backlash if MyTeam would have won.....

lets hope they do better in the next match.....Malaysia better start playing defensive right now cause i don`t think they gonna score anyway....so why waste two players for striker position ? play 4-1-4-1 or 4-5-1 lah.....

Today Malaysia`s game i am not gonna watch....there are better tv programs to watch. Sure they gonna kena at least 4-0.

The FAM board members who quit FAM because of "malu" are actually the people who made FAM this way. They act like they had nothing to do with "impending doom" which is FAM. I say good riddance to you ! Time to bring in some people who actually care about the state of Malaysian football.
