Help with Vista and installing .NET 1.1 Framework

Hi guys, Yeah, I know that this isn't the appropriate forum but I'm hoping that there are folks friendly enough to post some tips before I head over to the technical forums. Posting there is no quarantee that anyone will help post. I'm trying to install some other games onto Vista but since it needs .NET 1.1 Framework installed, the game stalls. Trying to get .NET 1.1 to install is not easy i.e. I'm stuck. Need some help. I followed instructions to disable the DEP but it still didn't work. Any tips? Thanks. |

only one user on this laptop and it's me. already tried that and yes, the account does have administrative rights. unless there's something else that i need to do to add in more administrative rights .... meh.... anyway, here are the error messages : http://www.imagebucket.net/bucket/17243/error1.jpghttp://www.imagebucket.net/bucket/17244/error2.jpgand it's always these 2 error messages. googling it didn't yield much help.  |
