I used to go starbucks often, but I guess I grow out of it.

Starbucks is a soothing place for a cuppa, nevertheless.

5.50 /hour? That's damn low.
If work 8 hours per day, you get RM44.
If work 30 days per month (no break), you only get RM1320.

So low. Of course you get bad customer service. With this kind of pay, you only attract this kind of employees.

It's amazing how KFC can still hire people paying only RM3.50 per hour.

Damn..The Midvalley Starbucks is closed..But luckily i can still online at Coffee Bean..

Taiwan has a very similar living cost (outside Taipei) and 711 pay around NT$80 ~ RM8+/-

Starbucks is definitely expensive, the cakes, the drinks, no wonder people go there, order a cup of coffee and surf the net on their wireless for hours Get back their money!

Many of them are part-timers or students. So, that kind of pay is not thatttt bad.

I was there last week and I saw half the place full of girls reading a book with a cup of coffee. The rest had notebooks and they were surfing god knows what.

You can order one starbucks drink and keep the plastic/paper cup. Then bring it everytime and fill up with your own water. Then cheaper then ice water lor.

So besides ice water no other cheaper drinks there ?
