Anyone working in Cognizant and how about the working environment?

I did some research online, so far Cognizant got really good review on jobstreet and glassdoor.

I see, I heard their pay is good.

Downside is the office located in Cyberjaya.

i did the deployment of LAN infrastructure at cognizant cyberjaya office..
my external observation:
office location are very nice - easy access to mall and highways, parking availability
office layout is ok - not open office concept, but adopt to global mnc trends - got teleconference booth
workforce mostly indians from india doing software development

Getting a Job as a SAP contractor in Petronas? They are not so professional. I rejected an offer from them for a 1 year contract. Trying to low ball the salary each day and one day they say they are rejecting you and tomorrow they will call you and offer you the job since no one is taking it.

I have also asked my friends who work as vendor to them to supply manpower, they dont like working with Cognizant either, they will contact the candidate directly and will not acknowledge the vendor as their referral.

Cyberjaya sounds like an upside to me! Maybe coz I studied in MMU Cyber that's why.

Cognizant. Worked with PET ICT too before. Politic is strong. If you are not part of it, you should be fine.

I know cognizant is the it support for my company..and yest mostly there is india..maybe if work there u sill be supporting malaysia region.

As I knew the HQ is at Cyberjaya. And now they offered the job at KL Sentral (NU Tower). Is there an office of cognizant since cant find any for my research in google.

my wife, report on 1st April, WFH until today, SAP attached to Petronas Project. might continue WFH until end of the year.

so far, she's liking it, new challenges, good teammates, almost every day on MS Teams..

she did not physically attended the interview coz that time she had sore eyes, her interview was done via concall with the person from the States and India.

pay is good, she got what she wanted.

she's a malay btw..

her teammates are indians and philippines.

Just want to ask a qtn. Say I get assigned to cimb for cogizant. Will I be assigned to a cogizant project for cimb or will i just be a contractor for cimb. I am very confused so far and my job recruiter is not helping me.

What if they offer me finance / accounting jobs? Is that good or bad?

Heard they pay up to RM7.5k for their foreign language senior process executive positions (according to their recruiter), but they’re mostly 1-year contact jobs.

Their recruiter tried to lowball me after the interview by asking how low am I willing to accept tho (initially asked for RM7k, then lowered it to around RM6.xk after they asked). Haven’t heard back from them yet until now..

They also have content review analyst positions, which might require candidates to review nsfw content that have been flagged but I didn’t bother applying as I’m probably not mentally strong enough for that kind of job lol.

The interviewers were very friendly tho, so thumbs up for that

Update: got the offer and they paid exactly what I asked for during the initial phone screen, so all is good👍
