what the hell kind of pricing are you guys paying? Lazada also sells stuff far more expensive than normal, the new nvidia GPUs cost 30-50% more on lazada than RRP and theres no reason we must charge more than RRP, i mean we are a developing nation with lower cost of living and lower taxes right? Why are we paying more than what US is paying?

The AC5300 is old, not even the awesome GT-AC5300 that asus has which is newer and better. They even have a business router pretty much like it too. For below rm 1000 for a AC5300 is less than ok but the AC86U should be much cheaper.

Erm, I think you should check the pricing for whole market on local units by asus my. The Nvidia case, that you'll have to ask the seller, iinm ran by bri**ts**r. Don't want to derail this thread, but sadly that's just how it is on most electronics.

Yes it has been a few years. But I think they are not going to linger in the 802.11ac for long and continue developing new high end products, since 802.11ax is introduced. If you're referring to the BRT-868, imho they are quite different. Just my 2cents.
