So, I was informed about the consumer behaviour of a certain group of people.

These people only patrons kedai "mamak" run by Muslims and not kedai "India" which has same setup as a kedai "mamak"; despite both of the kedai not having the "Halal" certification. Reason being, kedai "India" tak "Halal"

I thought he was only joking until I started to take notice for the past weeks whenever I walked pass these kedai. It's true.

How come such mentality exist here. sad.gif

Sorry to say, mamak food taste better. India food too blardy spicy and not nice and overpriced.

If mamak is expensive, india restoran is another big scam. Damn overpriced

not all mamak like that. if selangor area. i only like 1 mamak restaurant which is Hafiz Corner Ampang. its mamak restaurant but price cheap than Malay/Chinese restaurant. other than that like wangsa maju NZ Mamak so expensive.

my place now at kedah, Yasmeen Restaurant so cheap compare to other MAMAK or any other malay/chinese restaurant. with RM5.00 u can get nasi kosong+big ayam (paha+rusuk)+ kuah campur.
this mamak also got economy package like RM4.50 (nasi+ normal size ayam like peha/rusuk/dada + sayur+kuah campur). u cant get this price in other restaurant near my place. mostly will charge RM5 if like this. RM3.50 for nasi+normal size ayam+kuah campur. cheap!

u guys go to expensive mamak then generalise all same. its is not same.
