I'm shopping for new set of tyres for my Accord 2.4Vtil and currently I'm on Continental MC5.

Used PS3 before (it was a very good tires but did not really like its noisy and hard).
Used Hancook Prime 2 (niosy).
Used Hancook Noble S2 (very quiet and comfortable, but side wall cracked in few mths, scare, dare not try again).

Due to odd size, not that many options available out there.

Preference = quiet, comfortable ride.

I need recommendation.

Thanks in advance.

i used PS3 for years, grib is very very good, but did not like its noise and hard.

i m not sure if the new PS4 bearing the similar characters?

i prefer quiet and comfortable ride, cause my accord low profile big rim is originally bumpy already.

He doesn't like Michelin PS series already coz it's not so silent and hard for him (PS4 might be slightly more silent but it's also harder than PS3). smile.gif

I think your best bet should be Goodyear F1A2 or 3 for UHP, or the newest Yokohama Advan db v552 for mid-range/entry level performance category. The F1 will be expensive coz made in Europe/Germany while I'm not so sure about the new Advan db price range, should be cheaper but not as cheap as the Hankooks coz it's still made in Japan.

You can try ask around first. This tire I think already start to sell here coz I remember some guy in a forum (not sure here or others) have bought it recently and the price seems more reasonable now.

If you want the best noise and comfort i believe you only got top 2 choice

Yokohama Advan dB & Bridgestone Turanza T005. (Consider premium touring summer tires)

Goodyear, Michelin & Nexen in this range consider as UHP summer tire. (More towards sport type tires)

Upsize a little to 245/45/18, more choices and availability (which also means prices can be more reasonable than odd sizes).

Won't affect speedo reading too much.

Hmm that's a pity, then maybe only BS Turanza may fit for you. Or maybe can ask around for Continental MC6 if available for your size. That one should be more improvement over the MC5.

How wide is stock Accord rims? If already 8jj then can use 245 but if narrower then better not. Easier match would be 225/45/18 but that would be even lesser sidewall height than 235/45 so might not be suitable for TS who prioritizes more on comfort.

Hmm not bad, decent width for stock rims, just like the Mark X Sport Package.

So far...

Bridgestone T005A (dunno what price yet, still checking)
Continental UC6 or MC6 or CPC?
Hankook Noble S2 (used before very comfort and quiet, but side wall cracked, a bit hesitate again)
Michilin Primacy 4 (i think no size cause they did not call me back)
.......
