Just be careful with CB from MBB CC. There were instances where it was not captured. So I emailed them and after lengthy investigation, I was given the missing CB. Based on my experience, the following transactions have high tendency not to be included in the MBB
1. Transactions occurred on the last day of the month. If Amex, the last day must be a weekend. For FCB, the last day can be any day. If the transaction still not shown in M2U after CB is given, then it will be missed out. Eg, I made a transaction on 31 Jan and the transaction is not shown in M2U until 2 Feb (I used FCB for this case) 2. International purchases perhaps due to time zone differences 3. Some Malaysians website like Malaysia Airlines. If you purchase a ticket online after Saturday 12 am till 12.45 am using AMEX, it may not be registered in the CB. Not exactly sure if 12.45 am is the cutoff timing but the latest I tried was at that time. Post that, I didn't bother to purchase flight tix at midnight Ways to justify your case to MBB 1. Credit card slip. The transaction date on the slip 2. SMS notification on card usage. Good if you are doing online payment as you don't get the slips. 3. M2U if your case is clear ie transactions transacted on the relevant CB day |

QUOTE(talexeh @ Feb 2 2019, 08:07 PM) For (1) & (2), I believe the CB will be defered to the following month, no? This is due to the fact that the posting date falls on the following month which means that the CB will follow along. Yes I got the CB back for Jan. If you don't normally get full quota, then it should be OK but I always max out my monthly CB quota. However I am not sure if it is calculated in the next month as I got it back before the next billing. Not taking the riskFor example, if you made a transaction on 31 Jan with your FCB & the posting date was on 2 Feb, then the CB will fall on Feb's pool, not Jan's. In such case, there's nothing you can argue much with the CS right? Or are you saying that you've had successful appeal with CS to have the CB reinstate into your Jan's CB pool? |

QUOTE(engyr @ Feb 2 2019, 08:11 PM) Whether your purchase is entitled for cashback or not, it depends on transaction date. Then for those who max out your CB every month, you will lose out. How many of us will know if they have heavy spending the next month? If you have big purchases, then you will be under rebated. Best to get it earlyFor online purchase /International purchase, advise to make purchase after 4pm Saturday. The cashback is calculated based on posting date. Likely you will receive cashback in March. |

QUOTE(talexeh @ Feb 2 2019, 08:40 PM) I always aim for full quota but there are cases where it's unavoidable especially when the transaction's posting date fall on the following month. Can you share us a screenshot of your M2U transaction where the CS reinstate the CB for transactions with posting date on following months? Will look like this:25/12 25/12 ADJUSTMENT CASH REBATE - NOV 2018 32.25CR Don't ask me to take pic. P&C! |

Anyone experienced MBB won't transfer your TP when you cancel your visa card? Seems there is a new policy starting this year that disallow this?

With the latest restriction on CB on ewallet reloads, does this apply if I pay for GrabCar with my Amex? That is not loading ewallet but should have the same merchant code?

It is getting harder to use AMEX. Tried using in Giant last weekend but not accepted. This card is getting useless. Lesser places are accepting it due to the high charges. The wave feature never worked for me at all. No issues if u have a Visa
