amex does not give cashback n points for government related payment n ewallets. any way to use amex for Cukai Taksiran payment to earn cashback on weekend or to earn points on weekday ? sadly shopee does not accept amex

Guy, check your Treatspoint.
I noticed mine less ~900 points despite the only transaction was spending on petrol and Service Tax.

I hope it only happened for me, but check yours too.

i call maybank, they said only Amex service tax can be waived with 10K treatpoints but not Barcelona card.

Yes, this has been made known for quite some time now.

It is not waived. You use 10k TP for a RM25 credit.
FCB VS doesn't give TP, it is a pure cashback card.

Do AMEX reward cashback for google play transaction during weekend.

Yes but make sure you do it earliest by Saturday night since there's a possibility that Google Play runs on US time instead of local.

just make sure your transaction time is 16 hours which means after 4pm of Saturday as earlier than that might be before 12am of US time.

Check with Google what GMT they use to show proof to Maybank in case they didn't credit CB for u...

best is m2c amex during weekend for etiqa online.

if the car brand/model is not available, you can use manual method by calling to their etiqa oneline to manually charge your card on Saturday before noon (they work halfday Saturday. not on Sunday). tell them to charge immediately 'cause sometimes they wait till Monday to charge.

Pre-inform you, just in case TM @ M2U is discontinued (the service is now redundant to both Maybank and TM as Jompay is more cost effective).

I called CS, they mention that transaction to pay etiqa was via FPX/jompay (amounted RM905), which is not eligible for treatspoint.

Points was adjusted on last day of July.

I'm quite skeptical about the gateway used by etiqa, as it's family of Maybank, i dont think it'll use third party gateway.

Anyone know which gateway etiqa used?
