Stuck at M2U portal most likely (if MBB staff can help remove), else probably eCCRIS

Anyone have tried before getting cashback if transaction performed at the end of the month but posted next month where the cashback quota already fully utilised for the transaction month? For instance, transactions performed on 30 September 2018, and usually it will be posted on the next day which is October whereby September's cashback already accumulated RM50, will the cashback fall into October's cashback pool?
I understand that no matter how, as long as transactions capture within weekend are eligible for 5% cashback depending on the posted month for the cashback pool to be utilised, but this case will the cashback 'move on' to next month's quota?

Yes, the transaction on 30th Sept, posted on Oct utilise Oct cashback quota. That’s only possible for overseas transaction. Local transaction most probably will still be posted the same day.

No lo. Most of my local transactions are posted on the next day or 2 days later. Only bill payments and Grab, I can see on the same day.

Most often than never, most of my transactions is posted the same day, except for petrol and govt dept which can get posted late.

U tried before, sure will utilise Oct cashback quota? Some local transactions like petrol, retail purchase, etc will posted on next day

this behavior has been shared in 2011, and recently with FCB VS in Apr/May.

Hi guys. The weekend cashback, is based on n transaction or posted date? My maxis payment was posted on Monday, but transacted on Sunday.

Transaction date.

Posting date is critical if last day of the month falls on weekends.

Just done a call to MBB call center.

Surprisingly, they allow me to terminate the useless Visa card that come with the maybank 2 card platinium.

Now i got to keep the Amex only. Saved RM 25 SST.

You are the first one to report because this card needs to be coupled with AmEx or will be totally terminated.
Check again with different CS for the status few days later. That's a good news though.

just called too. Maybank now allow to terminate either m2card due to SST!

will do this next month after my final BT installment get posted, pay it off, and chop-chop!

At last, MBB bows to their customers demand and loses its shine!

They should just re-brand the card like UOB did on its VOX.

might be too much people terminate these cards recently.

How did you request? To cancel visa and keep Amex?

call lor, give them your visa/mc m2card PAN/card number and proceed to cancel if no outstanding.

they dont reject anymore like before.
