With the implementation of the Framework, there is likely to be a dampening in the cardholder rewards. Nevertheless, consumers are not worse-off.  With more affordable payment card acceptance cost, merchants will be less pressured to pass on such cost to consumers through higher prices of goods and services. In addition, more merchants would be able to afford the acceptance of payment cards, in particular the debit card. This would provide consumers with the convenience of using their payment cards widely at more merchant outlets, thus lessening the need to carry cash. "

currently mine is maybank 2 gold but the mastercard/visa seems not as effective in gaining cashback or points

Tried asking them in FB and Livechat, both giving different answer

FB say can but quite vague
livechat say need to apply new then cancel old card

So want to ask here for consumers perspective if they manage before

Does the Amex card entitle treat point or cash rebate for TNB payment?
If I pump petrol during the weekend, is consider cashback or treat points?

Amex is all the while accepted in fave with 5% rebate.

One of the better news for me, I use Shopee a lot.

Just receive my both card , call CS.
Mention must keep 2 card , sst must pay.
If cancel MasterCard , amex will be cancel too.

Will TreatsPoints gone after card replacement?
