Check both "transaction dates" at m2u.
If the transaction date is Sat/Sun and already posted, you already get the weekend cashback.
If the transaction date of refund is Sat/Sun, you will get a Negative CB (ie reversed cashback from you to Maybank)
If the transaction date of refund is Mon-Fri, nothing to do with the weekend CB.

If the merchant reverse the transaction, same transaction date.
If the merchant create another transaction to refund, a later date.

Maybank's CB is calculated based on "Transaction Date". Don't abuse.

Normally it will take a few days for settlement unless the merchant is served by Maybank.

Exclude stamp duty of RM10, surplus / premium = 4.3%.

But recently I found Etiqa Takaful may charge extra due to "Loading", so other insurance provider can be >10% cheaper!

If your transactions >RM8000, you can always pay in advance via cash deposit machines, DuitNow or IBFT or IBG EXCEPT Maybank2U.

Eg you want to perform a transaction of RM10000, you can deposit RM2000 at a Maybank's Cash Deposit Machine to make your outstanding balance -RM2000 (in credit) then you can swipe RM10000, beyond your credit limit of RM8000.
