Filled up a dispute form for AMEX cc, how long does it usually take for me to hear from them regarding the outcome? So far received an auto acknowledgment email only... Have not paid the disputed amount yet, wondering how does this work...

QUOTE(PoisonSoul @ Sep 26 2022, 11:50 PM) Generally if the statement comes already, u pay for it first. Later when you "win" the dispute, ur credit will be refunded to you to the AmEx CC. Thanks for sharing, I guess I will give them till this weekend... Hopefully it won't take too long and great that yours only took 1 business day to reverse the transaction!Mine kena also but about a month or 2 before ipay88 made the announcement. It was quick. I called, CS say ok, cancelled d your card and we will give you a new card. Got my new card after some PosLaju delay but if PL got it right, I would have gotten my card in about a week's time. I remembered I called on like a Tues or Wed, and PL was supposed to deliver it on the following Tues but keep say I wasn't home (but I was home whole day). Anyways. It took them like 1 business day only (mind you again, before ipay88 made the bomb announcement) to revert the transaction. Eventually, I never pay for the fraud. Update. Found my old ranting post. It was April actually. Click right here -> ![]() PoisonSoul liked this post

Anyone used AMEX to pay Shopeefood this noon? Keyed-in OTP 3 times and said payment failed but I received notification my cc was charged. No order detail shown in my SF history though, said to be issuing bank issue/unreachable.

Anyone is having incorrect 5% weekend cashback for Dec 22 (Amex cc of course). I have several transactions transacted over the weekend ie Sunday but transaction dates show as Monday instead. Lost about RM10 cashback for these transactions... Actually all transactions belong to foodpanda... Before this I had no such issue, this is the first time!

QUOTE(Devil4life @ Dec 4 2023, 08:29 PM) Update me the outcome, i also had same scenario however i think Uniqlo process their payment next working day though Secure2u is on weekend. QUOTE(ronnie @ Dec 5 2023, 08:22 AM) I did another Saturday spend (and it falls on 4/12) but using MBB Ikhwan AMEX-i no worries, just contact MBB about this, they will credit the cashback to you manually. It seems UNIQLO-EC always posted and transaction date on the next working day. did you call MBB to clarify your situation ? |

QUOTE(james2306 @ Apr 15 2024, 02:09 PM) Quick question.. Anyone can advise what is the recommended time to make booking at Agoda website on Saturday in order to get 5% CB? Is early morning okay instead of midnight?I made a payment on agoda on 23/3/24 around 1am++ But in statement it come out on 22/3 and stated London in the line. And i didnt get cashback for this. Is this intended for overseas transactions? Or can i file a claim with maybank? |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Feb 6 2025, 12:29 AM) I'm thinking to use AMEX (5% CB) or PBB CC for this E-commerce campaign (Fri-Sun) to make the booking at Agoda. Using PBB CC, would like to make sure the transaction day is Friday and want to secure a "spot" for the cashback so the earlier the better.. |

QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Feb 6 2025, 10:47 AM) Not sure it is online or direct debit (then no CB for PB CC) No need 3D/OTP verification. Not "MY", can be SG, ES or other country code. So 1% Cross Border Fee for some credit cards (Maybank and PB not yet charge cross border fee). Avoid CIMB, HLB, Bigpay, SC. The "Transaction Date" can be a later date, not always the date you give credit card details to Agoda, especially you choose to pay later. I prefer RHB VS, because it is a Overseas transaction (not "MY"). I had no idea about this 1% cross border fee, shouldn't we just pay what we see at the final price stated? I am not planning to use Pay Later option since it might incur additional 5% fee (whatever fee it is) but pay now option. Does this makes any difference to the cross border fee?
