Generally if the statement comes already, u pay for it first. Later when you "win" the dispute, ur credit will be refunded to you to the AmEx CC.

Mine kena also but about a month or 2 before ipay88 made the announcement. It was quick. I called, CS say ok, cancelled d your card and we will give you a new card.
Got my new card after some PosLaju delay but if PL got it right, I would have gotten my card in about a week's time. I remembered I called on like a Tues or Wed, and PL was supposed to deliver it on the following Tues but keep say I wasn't home (but I was home whole day).

Anyways. It took them like 1 business day only (mind you again, before ipay88 made the bomb announcement) to revert the transaction. Eventually, I never pay for the fraud.

I used amex to pay motortakaful online early this month on Saturday.

Update me the outcome, i also had same scenario however i think Uniqlo process their payment next working day though Secure2u is on weekend.

I did another Saturday spend (and it falls on 4/12) but using MBB Ikhwan AMEX-i
It seems UNIQLO-EC always posted and transaction date on the next working day.

But in statement it come out on 22/3 and stated London in the line.

And i didnt get cashback for this. Is this intended for overseas transactions? Or can i file a claim with maybank?

No need 3D/OTP verification.
Not "MY", can be SG, ES or other country code. So 1% Cross Border Fee for some credit cards (Maybank and PB not yet charge cross border fee). Avoid CIMB, HLB, Bigpay, SC.
The "Transaction Date" can be a later date, not always the date you give credit card details to Agoda, especially you choose to pay later.
I prefer RHB VS, because it is a Overseas transaction (not "MY").
