Receive called from maybank there have fraud of my amex card in Amazon.Mbb help me blocked my card promptly. wondering why I didn't get any sms notification?

Normally we will get sms OTP before transaction went through but i didn't get any sms alert. Mbb staff told me fraud try to test whether this card can be use or not. They will send me the new replacement card and ask me to check my statement. If they are not authorise transaction I can submit dispute form. I'm unable to view transaction in maybank2u since my card was blocked by cs.

I am thinking to buy something in USA website in black Friday. Now I don't think I dare to swipe my card in USA seem very unsecure over there.

u feel efficient because u went to card centre. For those not live in klang valley have to wait a week to get their card in mbb branch.

I already stated if u can't accept my explanation just ignore it. Regarding the other post -sometimes u need to play a bad guy to get the answer otherwise the answer just in between grey area. I am aware of some people not happy, as long as I get the answer I don't care.

So, the postman could have "faked" the delivery status of my credit card, in PosLaju Track and Trace website.
When I collected my credit card in the PosLaju Collection Centre, the postman claimed that it was "standard operating procedure" NOT to leave a document collection card in my mailbox, since the document is actually a credit card. It was a security measure implemented by PosLaju.
I replied that the postman could have left a document collection card in my mailbox, and discreetly ticked "document" instead of "credit card" on the document collection card, as a form of security measure. At least that way, I would knew that I have a pending Poslaju envelope waiting to be collected, rather than being left in a state of unknown.
The postman in PosLaju Collection Centre said that if the postman knew it was a credit card, they would NOT deliver the credit card to customer's home, and instead wants the customer to come personally to PosLaju Collection Centre to collect the credit card. No document collection card in my mailbox, no one calling my handphone to notify me, and worst of all, the credit card may be resent to Maybank Headquarters, if I did not get the tracking number from Maybank CS.
In the end, what is the role of Poslaju, after being hired by Maybank to deliver credit card? No one knows for sure.  bangwall.gif

3. Benefits payable under this Certificate in respect of valid claims will be

Duplicate or multiple Maybank 2 Platinum Cards shall not obligate the Company in excess of the limit stated herein for expenses incurred by any one individual Covered Person as a result of any one incident covered under this Master Policy.

4. Claims Service – all claims and correspondence relating to the insurance must be given as soon as possible but no later than 21 days after the event giving rise to the claim to:

The only drawback is annual fee. If u spend a lot with this card not reasonable compare with your salary, u will giving alert to LHDN. Bad idea.

Time to cancel amex cards after many exclusion list came out. I'm using most of the time to pay bills and e wallet. Currently their cards is the least attractive for me.
