Has anyone successfully applied card thru m2u portal.

I applied thru the m2u portal and got rejected 2 hours later. So dam efficient sia.

I doubt that my credit rating is so bad they would reject my application almost immediately.

Ur case Should be ur m2u profile not updated or not complete.. just try to apply via email to them with supporting documents

when u redeem TP, you dont redeem according to product type, e.g. bank or cc.

TP is accumulated together. so, redemption would utilize the oldest earned TPs first.

You mean Redeem?
The TPs can be combined. Click on the TPs and redeem.

I applied via M2U portal, within an hr i received an SMS and followed up by an email that my application is REJECTED. I did upload all relevant supporting documents during submission.

I then called Maybank CS to enquire, they said they cannot share the reason but adviced me to submit the manual application form & scan back with documents. I did it right away, and following day CS called to verify some information. After 7 days, I received and SMS saying card is approved, and then received cards 3 days later.

I think the system does an automated credit check. If fail, they decline it right away. Howver via manual submission, it still goes through credit check but the Credit Risk Department sitll verify the information & make the final judgement.

I think it might be no updating onto your income document as they still holding your old income document. So that's why they reject you from m2u application doh.gif

Anyone know what are the charges for foreign currency fee paid using AMEX? I want to pay about 7000 TWD this weekend but not sure if it is better to use AMEX or bigpay...

BigPay card is the best if you are performing foreign currency transaction, AMEX charge is the highest among all, i always use BigPay card whenever I am overseas .

If you have nothing else to spend till end of the month, then use your M2 Amex Gold/platinum for TWD7k (near RM1k).
But if you have HLB cashback card, you may consider the 10% CB promo.

800 per month or 800 per annum? If latter may still have chance but MBB is very strict with income requirement, no harm trying.

Then, I think better don't try now until you receive next salary adjustment to meet the minimum requirement. sweat.gif

Depending on what you want.
Of course by Amex you need to pay higher, but you earn TP.
If you are targeting lower rate, got with Bigpay.
Difference by around 3%.

I can't really find exchange rate for Amex, but previously my calculation was based on Visa rate + 2.5% (bank charges).
Bigpay is based on Mastercard rate, which is slightly lower than Visa.
For now, there is no extra charges from Bigpay (0%), solely based on MC rate.

How long does it take for the cancelled Maybank 2 Card Visa/MC to become "Account is not authorised" in maybank2u, after requesting for card cancellation?

I called to cancel my card yesterday and CS told me it's immediate effect. But I still see the card in maybank2u just like normal.

dont think immediate removal is possible because it need some kind of approval (yes, dumbfounded when i heard it)

give it few days or a week. then contact back again if still visible.

It's 2.7% from all the cards I've seen. If the American Express card you're using provides purchase protection, and you'd like some insurance against theft or damage (or the ability to file a chargeback in case of fraud), it's a good idea.
