What's the hype of the contactless enabled card if it is not even supported locally?

Those who got it should just go to try it at McD or Watson. Both can support AMEX.

Just curious why can’t use the card when they r just replacing with contactless card.. last time when we receive those paywave/ contactless card Pin n Pay card time also never block existing card?

Or maybe because the reason for replacement is due to card / chip faulty?

i went gardens just now to request the amex contactless card too, they asked how i know about this and say someone requested the same yday 

I received the new M2C Amex on 12th Oct, however it's not contactless. When is it actually rolled out?

fruitie reported it last week for her colleague's.

An update regarding upgrade to AmEx contactless card. I just applied for it at The Gardens card centre.

Initially, the staff declined my request saying there is no such contactless card for AmEx. Luckily my colleague was with me, so showed her renewed card. They checked and came back telling I can replace it.

Unfortunately, going through card centre will not get this replaced on the same day unlike my Ikhwan MC replacement which I got it few hours later. It has to go back to HQ and takes 7 working days. I will collect from The Gardens when it is here.

From tomorrow onward, my card will be blocked until new card arrives. During this period, not even online transactions can be done. Staff helped me to fill in the form and put it as "broken" for the reason and replacement will be F.O.C.

So fast haha

I don't think that they'll make any announcement.
For the Ikhwan card, I didn't see nor receive such announcement.

They changed at MBB card centre at 1U, Gardens or KLCC.
If you do it at the branch or call, you definitely need to wait.

How many days will be the TAT?

For new MBB card's anniversary, will it follow existing card's anniversary?
I understood that SST is charged upon card approval. For instance, if a card is approved on November and existing card anniversary is December, does it mean it will be charged RM25 SST on both November and December month for the new card? If yes, what if I only apply during December, will it still charge RM25 in single month?

how you guys get the Amex paywave card so fast ? MBB is known to be inefficient just like PBB.
I call through CS and need to wait 7 days as i request to send to my nearest branch.

u feel efficient because u went to card centre. For those not live in klang valley have to wait a week to get their card in mbb branch.

I don't know others. But I got my card after 5 days.
