You can't use Amex at Shopee Bill payment - this section is managed by Airpay Malaysia Sdn Bhd (ie ShopeePay) instead of Shopee Malaysia.
For Lazada bill payment, yes you can get 5% CB by using Amex, still managed by Lazada. But you can get more savings if you get a Voucher Club and pay with Lazada Wallet in some occasions (no CB if you use a Maybank CC to top up Lazada Wallet)

Verified by myself, TIME Fibre is still entitled for 5% cashback under AMEX during weekend. It could be that it is under different MCC for transaction with AMEX compared to VISA/Master.

If purchase on shopee during weekends with AMEX, but not FPX. Do u still get cashback

I feel like I've made a huge mistake applying for this card. I just got a call from Maybank ytd to confirm if I want to take the 2 gold card and I said yes, but turns around to find out the merchant that I frequent actually doesn't accept Amex. Should I just call them and say I want to cancel it or say I want to change another card lol. I feel so stupid right now.

Can apply through counter?

Last time I went to the counter to apply she gave a an email and few PDF forms. After that no follow-up whatsoever, so don't even know if I'm rejected or not
