You guys who've updated to Pie, do you see any performance improvements eg. better battery life etc?

Cost for the screen is around RM95 only cause it is IPS. You can DIY. If not I think shops should charge you not more than RM150 to replace the LCD screen. Take note, not just the glass but the whole LCD screen. If only glass, I think it should cost like RM100.

News has it that they're struggling with the demand for the ROG 2 and apparently some quality issues of the ZenFone 6. Guess they'll wanna fix that before launching some new midrange phones.

Well , not everybody can afford to buy these ROG 2 & Z6 cry.gif

I just wonder it seem like they has stop the Zenfone Max Pro M2 sales and not even a rumor around to be hear wut going on , could it be thier tiny finger has been missing due not meet the sales target , you know it they called it bbaannzaiii brows.gif

As the M1 is only my backup phone, I am looking for something less than RM800. So the Z6 or ROG2 is not for me. At first I was really impressed by Z6 and almost wanted to get it but Asus didn't launch it here. Their loss. Anyway, I will wait for M3 and hope it comes without notch.

Since M1 launch, Asus has been improving a lot in their phone's hardware and software. I just wonder why they has slowed down so much. Is it their phone sales really not doing well?

Here's the answer...

The above clearly explains that average consumers don't "like" stock Android... Let's see if Pixel 3a (released on May 2019) can be in the top 10 next time...

Xiaomi still dominate the mid-tier(s)... Sammy have a good fight with their A-series ...

And recently :

The longer Asus delayed, the more potential buyers runaway to other brands... I suggest Asus to focus releasing devices sometime in Jan/Feb because this is when people get annual bonus from their salary...

Fortunately, we have another option for 5K mAh energy supply :

Yeah, after a rather strong and aggressive comeback last year in our market with the 5, 5Z and M1, they seem to have faded. Even the ROG 2 launch has been delayed further. The M2 is a strange one, it’s completely disappeared from Lazada’s website while the M1 continues to be sold, with no new successor being announced. At this point, I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for the M3...

I’m a big fan of stock Android though. It’s a bit boring yes, but at least it doesn’t misbehave!

Maybe M1 unsold stock still slot... So better clear off asap..
Meanwhile M2 totally out of stock & No more production anymore....

My wild guess 😜😉
