I believe there is certain batch from Made in China facing this issue...



My unit was on batch "August 2018" from EIN... So, that's why Laz did not proceed with REPLACEMENT becoz they know many buyers facing the same issue on the camera...

Perhaps those getting the September batch will get a proper camera modules...

Also the price on Lazada went up. It's now 1299 instead of 1237. Could be another reason why they opted to refund you instead of replace a brand new unit for you.

Yeah perhaps ... maybe they wanna throw/clear bad stock of August batch first then only replacement will be honored...



But 128GB is dropping price now...I don't really crave for Poco...waiting for next year F2...

I still plan to try it after I sell off my M1 before the warranty ends, but maybe next year, after CNY or so, hahaha...

I touch-up the RM1,237 with RM2,299... Item was returned and full refund...no new phone ...so, this RM1,237 will be invested into 128GB iPhone X"R"etarded later becoz finally Mr. Timmy followed my instructions to include dual-SIM-dual-Standby iPhone after like 10 years in the wishlist...



Same like in the YouTube...camera Portrait Mode freeze/crash... I believe it's hardware and not software issue...hence, I quickly returned the Poco even though there is 1 year extended warranty offered by Lazada...

For the Retarded phone with dual active SIM, you'll need to get a China/HK model with two physical SIMs as we will most likely get the one that supports only eSIM + one physical SIM. Only maxis has eSIM now, and that also only available on a Huawei watch!

By the way, I'm also targeting the Retarded phone, haha...
