I just tried Maluri MRT last weekend, amazing ..

it seems that Laville can beat the walking distance to Sunway Residence (or Sunway Velocity).
*
a less hot/dusty route to velo would be through cochrane station. Velocity 2 would need 2 bridges to cross.. yes, further.

If project cancel, would they return deposit ?
This project is controversial, would it be high risk investment?

MRT will be bad everywhere.....so can u image those living further....hahaha....just travel earlier
*
living further is much less hassle and headache to get on train compared to stations nearer to centre. thats why rapidkl used to send empty trains to kl sentral (lrt kj line), dont know if they still do, i havent taken that line since c19.

Be interesting to see the impact on price when you have such an orientation. What would make it worthwhile for a buyer to have a building right in front of your windows blocking your sunlight? 10% under, 20%? My personal opinion is that it’s a no go but there’s a price for everything.

People on the Lavile side who bought this orientation would be swearing blue.

Consolation you know your view will never change and you won't have to spend much on window tint.

Great way to find the silver lining! But yea this kind of claustrophobic feel is probably the biggest deterrent for most people. If I put on my marketing hat, I’d call it a cosy communal environment where you can literally hug your neighbours.

The problem is when there’s so much supply all generally in the same price range, how much do you discount your rent to get a taker with a glaring weakness or you’d otherwise pray for a water fish.
*
there are people like me who look specifically for these units (for a hefty discount) haha. When I was in china tier 2/3 cities for work, I would take these blocked view low floor pads for 1500-1600 compared to 2.2-2.5 for good view units.

After the pandemic am paranoid about people coming close to my personal space and touching skin. I’m sure I can’t be the only one.

For that reason, not really a fan of too Ong a TOD.
*
Years of living in china and singapore has desensitised me to this. Even lrt klcc is nothing compared to the rush there.

Oh that’s not that bad then. I thought it was KFC and white powder activities. It’s damn creepy anyway so I didn’t really go explore.

And many used photography gear shops, have to frequently brave this mall to pick up good deals there 🤣

looks like the water pond will never go away

Yikes, when your view/neighbour went from being a lane, to an apartment, then finally a pond.
