I need help.......I was cleared from a non- banking related bankruptcy in July 2018. My CCRIS is clean now but all my application for

a. Housing Loan
b. Car Loan
c. Credit Card
d. Easy Payment

have been rejected. I was told that i must have an active payment trend in CCRIS in order to get a good score in CTOS but how to prove to be a good repayment individual if I cannot secure anything?

Salary is above 8k but unable to get any financial help sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif ......Any advice for me?

Thank you.

well maybe ur just cleared in CCRIS but then not in CTOS? Plus banks view you as high risk since you've been in CCRIS list before.

Try to wait a few months before you apply again and see.

Depends on bank believe.
Whatever amount you pledge will be your card limit!

Try the following first
1.secured credit card: consistent payment for 6 months , utilization between 10-30% of credit limit.
2.Bank Pawn Loan. Secured loan based on Gold. i.e. Bank Rakyat or Agrobank.
3.Open a current account and get a secured line of credit based on FD.i.e. HSBC.

Or go to AKPK BNM and adhere to their advice.

Ya, if it's reflected in CTOS will need to wait for at least 2 years to update.

If CCRIS will be faster, just need to pay promptly for the next 1 year as the record reflects payment for the past 1 year

CC should be ok tho..
probably you are not aware of something in your CTOS or CCRIS..
my advice, check back those two..
and then reapply CC if your are really cleared..

To be honest CC can be difficult to get due to it being an unsecured loan.

For the bumiputras, from my experience, an ASB loan is much easier to get due to the fact that:

1. it is secured, the bank can force sell your units if you fail to pay
2. ASB units are fixed-price, they will not lose in value, at least not face-value. Dont know about the actual NAV

Also, banks that knew that you were part of their bankruptcy proceedings will remember you forever. Consider being permanently blacklisted from that bank
