No need to go for those durian buffet, because they will slaughter you. If me i look for those small vendors where they sell durian kampung, d24 or 101. Their price is cheaper because no need rental. I always look for the ones sold by packet at least i can see and smell before i buy.

As far as i know here subang usj 1 in front angsana flat bustop or nearby smk usj13 got those small durian vendors. In front petronas usj 14 got durian buffet stalls but get ready to pay more.

Exactly why im looking for people selling durian kampung. Dont need to fancy musang king etc since its a one time taste, end up becoming shit also.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion.

True, musang king is simply overrated. Not to say it is no good, it is good but it is not the only one that tastes good. Those durian kampung (well depends on your luck), and d24 are actually good stuffs if you know how to choose.

I used to buy durian by weight from the buffet stall, i pay nearly rm75 for one whole damn durian but ended up tasteless. I think it was unripe durian imported from thailand. Even a packet of d24 costs rm25 tastes so much better.

Now, you can even buy d24 at rm10 per packet or rm20 for 3 packets and eat till you die.

The best durian vendor i've had was the one i stumbled upon at roadside in Pandan Indah, on the way heading to Lembah Maju. The selller was an uncle and he carried a pile of durians by hilux. He opened his durians and packed into packets on the spot. Every packet sold from rm5 to rm10 depends on sizes and mixed types. I chose d24 and it was a single lobe whose size as big as fist but the seed was the smallest i've ever seen. That single piece was enough to make you feel full. The best thing is it was only rm5!
