wanna to ask u guyz...what is te most ideal disc brake setup with my budget around RM600?

I prefer mechanical ..... I rather COD if my transaction more then RM150 bucks...alor setar wor...so far, nanti bayar tak mali.. hehehe..

I was thinking Avid BB7 and also I heard alot of problem with Avid hydra brakes especially when comes to durability...

My local LBS recommend me Shimano's hydra then Avid ones..yeah the hydra brakes are awesome and i'd felt the braking before...really soft n light on ur fingers...

I will make a decision on it later this month n see what happen!

RM720 is a bargain for Mavic Crossride....Dun haf to be hasty about buyin it yet, just research awhile first n look at forum reviews.

The BB7 looks good in every forum reviews..at least 4star out of 5. For a mechanical disc brake it looks top notch. usually all or most of the downhiller will go for hydra brake, but for me ride XC won't haf to necessary spend that much of hydra brake. that is my thaught...

Shimano RD XT 2008..... when is my rear rd going to break!!!!!

I was saying if my old Shimano XT 2003 breaks I;ll intend to go for the 2008 XT RD..That will haf to wait for another 1 or 2 more years? ehhehe...

Avid Juicy 3 also ok wut...low end but still can deliver good braking system....like the guy said in the mtbr forum, that Juicy 3 is cheaper to produce then the Juicy 5....but still deliver strong braking

Holy cow! that's is bad...with mud n chain doesn't mixed well together. it must been h*ll for ya! how many hours you completed the whole thing?

I went to Kajang hash yesterday (28km)..was pretty dry, the trail are in good condition. the only setback was wasted 30-45mins of time finding the right trail to go..casualty only 1 guy fell n had a bad scratch on his legs. bleeding like crazy.

around 70-80 ppl went for the hash...there were a few of us tryin to look for te paper but couldn't find it. the junction to turn to the right way the paper was not there, but luckly someone found it. some of the riders totally lost its ways n reported that they end-up in Bangi. they gaved up n call for pickup.

Wah...u are covered with mud..there are so much mud then i'd ever been through before... the bikes tyres are like 2.3 or 2.4 when covered with mud..
