I'm using a 1 yr plus old WTB Wolfenstine tire. Andrew and my friend using panaracer fire pro xc. Another friend of mine is using a 2.3 maxis DH tire.. Does not really matter in my opinion.

But Panaracer's Firx XC tires are not bad. Maxxis High Roller alos nice

For me, its just a feeling.. Dropping down to the lighter gear comes naturally.

But of course, i'm doing off-road and not on tarmac! Just use the gear which you feel suitable with. Which means u can push without much effort!

Just take it easy with a light gear till you find your rhythm. Then up a gear one by one
