I have been reading the reviews of motorcycles but still unable to decide which motorcycle suit for me. Plan to buy a motorcycle to ride in town area and outstation during weekend. Thought of buying XMAX, but the seat height too height for me and unable to let me flat my foot on the ground (my height is 163cm). Tried Y15ZR and NMAX from shop, I can only flat my foot on one side, the seat height keeps me on my toes if I try to hold he motorcycle with both feet on the ground. Please advise or recommend any others motorcycle that with lower seat height that below 250cc.

QUOTE(sooyen88 @ Aug 25 2018, 01:13 PM) Yeah its perfectly fine. When I took my UK bike license they taught us to have left foot on the ground and right foot on rear brake when stopped. Short guys like me will just shift slightly to the left so that our left foot is flat. The bike will usually lean slightly to the left too, this is fine. Over time it will begin to feel normal. Shoes/boots with thicker soles will help a lot as well. |

Yep, one footed the stance is the way to go really for vertically challenged people which is why in the first place I myself prioritized being able to flat footed the bike but it's not the case really. Just calculate well the maintenance cost and the rest should be fine.

Hi OP,
Now, I'll assume your main concern is seat height. Here's the seat height for all three bike; Y15ZR : 780mm 135LC : 770mm Nmax : 765mm As you can see Nmax offers the lowest seat height. If you're considering on lowering your bike, the Nmax uses a rear dual absorber setup, while both LC & Y15 uses a monoshock setup. You can easily lower the front side of the bike by lowering the front forks. To lower the rear side you'll need to find lower shocks. One option you can consider is getting the Y15ZR and lowering the front forks, then replace with rear monoshock with a 135LC monoshock. The Y15 uses a 210mm monoshock, the 135LC uses a 200mm monoshock which is a bit lower. |

If you're really concerned about seat height, there's the Kawasaki Z125 or KSR110, Honda MSX, or Benelli TnT 135. All of them have very low seat height.

Thought of those as well, very nice design mini naked bike. Is those bikes suitable for long distance drive? As those bikes are in between 125 to 135cc only. |

QUOTE(sooyen88 @ Aug 26 2018, 01:10 PM) How about lower the seat height, but some people telling it may cause the rain water to go into the seat. Do you mean getting the seat foam shaved so the seat itself is less thick? You can do that too (and it is a viable option), but I have no idea how that would let water into the seat unless the seat cover was improperly replaced after the foam was shaved Lowering the bike via raising the front suspension forks (the two tubes holding on the front wheel) and the rear suspension is possible, but not really recommended since it will affect the handling and cornering clearance (you might not be able to lean as much as you like because the whole bike is now lower). You can do long distance on them and hold a steady 100km/h but it won't be comfortable or fast. Then again, our forebears had no issue doing stuff like going from KL to Penang on 50cc bikes |

It is the only way for my foot to touch the ground more without mod the suspension part. |

I also in a dilemma choosing these 3 in Penang.
For town riding and working, per trip to office, 15km, which bike is better buy? BTW, I don't have issue of seat high. |

QUOTE(leon898 @ Aug 28 2018, 07:29 AM) Yeah, agree with this. Last year we rode to Satun in Thailand and had one rider on a y15zr. It was a pretty chill ride but he didn't have any problems staying with the rest of the group which was all 600cc+ when riding at 120-140km/h. |

QUOTE(jimmyteng18 @ Aug 28 2018, 09:47 AM) I also in a dilemma choosing these 3 in Penang. For slow traffic in city, better get LC135 because it doesn't use clutch. Your left hand will thank you. Same reason people hate using manual car during traffic jam.For town riding and working, per trip to office, 15km, which bike is better buy? BTW, I don't have issue of seat high. |
